Randy Mealer Mr. Mealer is a 1982 graduate of Mtn. View High School and earned a BME degree from Henderson State University in 1987. At HSU Mr. Mealer studied with Don E. Kramer, Wendell O. Evanson and Dr. Wes Branstein. Additional graduate course work has been completed at PSU and MSU. Mr. Mealer has taught in Both Arkansas and Missouri. His Missouri experience included Webb City, Monett and Republic. His Arkansas teaching experience includes Pea Ridge, Pulaski County Special School District and Harrison. Bands under his direction have performed with distinction in Branson, Kansas City, St Louis, Winterpark - Colorado, Chicago, Orlando and Washington DC. Jana Johnson Mrs. Johnson is a clarinet major originally from Springdale, AR. She graduated from Ouachita Baptist University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Before teaching in Harrison, she spent two years as junior high and assistant director at Malvern, AR. She is married to Chad, and is mom to Karlie and Toby. |
Jim Lanning Mr. Lanning was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in the Baltimore-Washington area of Maryland. He is a 1966 Graduate of Evangel University in Springfield, MO. with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education. Mr. Lanning also holds a Masters Degree in Secondary Administration from Drury University in Springfield, MO. He also has additional hours from Missouri University in Columbia, MO. Mr. Lanning retired from teaching in Missouri with 29 years experience. He taught Band, Orchestra and Choir in Bunker, Lockwood, Pierce City, East Newton, Springfield and Monett school districts in Missouri. Before coming to Harrison, Mr. Lanning then served as General Manager with S&K Menswear and Ultra Diamond and Gold for eight years. Mr. Lanning and his wife reside in Branson, MO. |
